- NEH&GR vol 149, p.415: "Sarah (King) Bisbey listed as dau of Thomas King of Scituate, Mass. in will dated 30 June 1691." also p. 416: Sarah King, dau of Thomas & Sarah King, b. 24 May 1650 bp. 26 May 1650 d. Hingham 20 Oct 1716; m (1) Hopestill Bisbee of Marshfield, (2) as his second wife, 24 or 27 Feb 1695/6, Joseph Lincoln of Hingham, son of Thomas and Avis (Lane) Lincoln.
In the will of Thomas King, an item reads: "To my daughter, Sarah Bisbey, the use and improvement of three acres of marsh land, up the river in Marshfield next to the 'Gravely Beach' there and so by upland side, during her natural life and the life of her husband."
It is looks like this Sarah King (dau of Thomas) is the same Sarah King (dau of Thomas) given as the spouse of Elijah Bisbee (# 315). Lining up all the known dates of marriage, children, and Thomas King's probate (1691), believe that either Sarah was not, in fact, ever married to Elijah, or else these Sarahs are two different people. Don't have enough source material to resolve the issue.
