  Richard Gavitt had brown eyes and black hair, was slender, quiet, and stood about 5'-6" tall. He served in the US Army during WWII. Stationed at Douglas, Arizona, he was aboard ship on his way to Guam when the War ended. Most of his working life he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad as a welder.
