Mungo Fairly Samson

From "Romantic Kent' by Victor Lauriston, 1952, p. 268

Mungo Samson came to Harwich in 1839, and five years later settled on lot 11, concession 2, E.C.R., being one of the earliest residents in the section.

Note: from Bob Betts. E.C.R. stands for East of Communications Road which, in this instance, refers to the road running South of Blenheim from Highway 3 to Shrewsbury on Rondeau Bay of Lake Erie.
