- The 1790 US Census for Mass. lists, "Eleazer Bisby, Salem, Essex Co. 2 m. 3 fem."
Revolutionary War records show, "Eleazar Bisby of Pembroke (West Parish) Private, Capt. James Hatch's Co. Alarm April 19, 1775; marched to Scituate and Marshfield; discharged April 29, 1775, service 11 das."
Also, "Capt. Hatch's Co. enlisted March 4, 1776, discharged March 8, 1776; marched from Pembroke to Braintree and thence to Weymouth on alarm; 3 mos. at Gurnet, promoted to Corporal Sept. 9, 1776; 15 days service Bristol, R. I. Dec. 1776."
Also, "Eleazar Bisby of Pembroke; Private Eleazar Manlen's Co. Gen. Thomas' Reg't. Company returned (probably Oct. 1775)."
Also, "orders for bounty coat or its equivalent in money, dated Roxbury Nov. 9, 1775."
Also, "Eleazar warrent to pay officers and crew of schooner 'Hannah' for services at Penobscot." (Year not given) again, "Eleazar of Pembroke, Private Capt. Eleazar Hamlen's Co. Gen. John Thomas' Reg't.; muster roll dated Aug. 1, 1775, enlistment May 1, 1775, service 3 mos. 1 day."
"Eleazar Bisby of Marshfield, Laborer, 1791 Salem Constable warnings of those coming to Salem without leave, depart or report their doings."
