Peacefully with his family by his side at Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll on Friday, December 4, 2009 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Bisbee) Collins for 55 years; loved father of Cathy Kirby (Guy) of Paris, Heather Freeman (Bill) of Mt. Elgin, Doug (Katherine) of Ingersoll; cherished grandpa of Seth, Lauren, Carrie, Drew, Alanna and Avery. Dear brother of Ruth Armstrong (Huck), Margaret Mcdonald (Hugh) all of Ingersoll, Mary Hubert (and the late Paul) of Ohio and brother-in-law of Frank Bisbee (Olive) of Woodstock. Bob was a member of the Ingersoll Pipe Band for 70 years, active Pipe Major 1962-2000, Member of King Hiriam Masonic Lodge # 37 A.F. & A.M., Past Director of Royal Scots Mocha Pipe Band, an Elder at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 119 Ingersoll. Friends will be received at the MCBEATH- DYNES FUNERAL HOME, 246 Thames Street, South, Ingersoll on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Masonic Lodge Service under auspices King Hiriam Masonic Lodge # 37 A.F. & A.M. will be held at 6:30 pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, Ingersoll on Wednesday at 1 pm with Reverend Dr. Lonnie Atkinson officiating, interment to follow at Harris Street Cemetery. Donations in Bob's memory may be made to the Ingersoll Pipe Band or the charity of your choice (cheques accepted) would be appreciated. www.gffh.ca
