John M. Burk, auctioneer, will offer for sale at the residence of Chas. Senior, Esq., town, on Saturday, Aug. 5th, a large and valuable list of household furniture. The sale will commence at 2 o'clock sharp and will be without reserve Terms. - $5.00 and under cash; over that amount 3 months' credit or 6 per cent per annum discount for cash.

J. M. Burk's first farmer's sale was held last Saturday afternoon on the Market Square and the attendance was good.

Death claimed one of Blenheim's oldest and most respected citizens, in the person of Mr. John M. Burke, on Wednesday evening of last week at his residence, at the advanced age of nearly 75 years. Mr. Burke for a num- ber of years conducted a livery and bus business here and also was baliff and auctioneer for Kent County.
